What is GothCon?
GothCon is Sweden’s oldest gaming convention that focuses entirely on analog games. If you are at all interested in role-playing games, board games, figure games, card games and everything else related, this is something you absolutely cannot miss!
GothCon is hosted every easter in Gothenburg. This year easter is between April 17 to April 20 (Thursday to Sunday) and Mindstage will be there hosting tournaments all weekend long!
We are hosting tournaments in Magic the Gathering, Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited and Flesh & Blood! For more information – keep scrolling!

Mindstage will be hosting several tournaments in Magic, Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited and Flesh & Blood! To play in our events you don’t need to purchase tickets to GothCon. Instead you can pay a small extra fee per event you play. This part of the tournament entry fee goes directly to GothCon to sponsor them and enables you to participate without a buying a pass to the convention itself!
But if you want to do other things than play in Mindstages tournaments, or give GothCon some extra support you can buy tickets to GothCon here!

Tarkir Dragonstorm
Team Sealed Deck
Maximum of 4 rounds
Fee: 300kr/375kr per player (300kr plus 75kr extra if you haven’t bought tickets to Gothcon)
This format, while being much like individual Sealed, challenges teams of three players to build three decks out of twelve boosters, one deck for each teammate.
These games are then played 1v1 and when a team has two players win their individual matches, the whole team wins the match.

Juzamdjinn.com is hosting a fun little tournament for the Noobcon players who are less worried about travelling home than getting a last fix of their favorite format! This event will take around four hours. Prizes are awarded in the form of vouchers that you can use to buy oldschool goodies from JuzamDjinn.com! The store (and William) will be on site to trade, buy and sell cards!

Highlander Gold

Do you want to be called a World Champion? This is honestly one of your best shots! We are usually around 8-10 people competing for this title.
But what is Highlander Gold? The rules are simple. You can only play cards with the golden frame. (Multicolor) Plus lands of course! A deck is at least 60 cards (plus a maximum of 15 cards sideboard) and you can only play 1 copy of each card. All sets legal in Vintage are legal in Highlander Gold. This is a one-on-one format with regular Magic rules. Best of three, 20 lives, etc. Get brewing already! The winner brings home the smallest trophy ever.

Mindstage is hosting three Limited Tournaments on friday! Each one is a separate event, but for each match you win in either of them you will collect points. At the end of the day the player with the most points will be crowned the 2025 Easter Limited Champion! This comes with prize boosters, promos and a trophy!

Welcome to both newer and more advanced players to join us for easter! Players will duke it out to see who can become the first annual Easter Champion! This tournament is friendly and casual.
You are provided with six booster packs to use as your individual card pool, from which you build a 40-card deck using any number of different inks (rather than only two inks). You’ll open 72 cards in total across your six packs and select 40 of them. This will be your deck!
You will be paired against different players each round, collecting points for winning games on the way. After all the rounds are finished the player with the most points will be crowned the Lorcana Easter Champion!
On the line is a trophy, a bunch of prize boosters and promos! If you do well and finish among the best players you will be rewarded! You also keep everything you open in your six boosters during deck construction.
You don’t need to pre-register for this event. Just show up during registration and pay at the venue. See you there!
— Frequently Asked Questions —
Do I need to buy a ticket to the convention just to play a Mindstage event?
No. You can instead just pay a small extra fee in each tournament you want to participate in.
Where can I submit my deck lists?
You can submit your deck list on our Deck List Registration Page! Paper deck lists are not allowed but can be accepted in special cases (and for the Premodern Easter Championships). If your tournament is not in the list then it doesn’t require a deck list.
What tournament app will be used?
Magic players will be using the app MTG companion. You will need a wizards account. (It’s the same account as on MTG Arena if you use that)
For Star Wars: Unlimited we will use Melee.
Do I have to pre-register for an event?
No. In fact, you can’t. Just show up before the registration closes and you can pay and register on the spot!
Will Mindstage be there to sell cards?
Yes. The store will be there to sell Singles, products and accessories! We also buy and trade cards.
Do you buy cards?
Certainly. We buy, trade and sell cards. Just drop by and we will do our best to make you a fair deal!
Will there be MTG commander play?
Yes! There will be a dedicated commander area for casual play with meetups every hour!
